A romantic drama dating back to Paris at the turn of 19th century, when the dancer Loïe Fuller was the biggest star of the Folies Bergère Cabaret. Nothing predestined the former farmer’s daughter raised in the American mid-west to dance in a Parisian Opera. And yet, it happened. With arms prolonged by wooden sticks and wreathed in meters of silk, Loïe discovers her body on stage and enthrals the audience by her revolutionary serpentine dance night by night.
